I'm wondering if there is any existing resources on setting intonation on Framus acoustics. The metal adjustable saddle is handy for making easy changes to the action, but I don't see any options for shifting the saddle forwards or backwards to compensate for intonation issues. My 12 string intonation is sharp by almost 1/4 of a semitone on the low E string (at the 12th fret) and a bit less on the high E. I guess I'm wondering how people fix this with these guitars. You can't move the zero fret. I guess it would be possible to push the neck back away from the body to compensate. I could also remove and push the whole bridge back along the body, but that would have an impact on the structural integrity of the body.
I guess I would live with it if it were a small amount, but it's enough that even basic chords aren't quite right. Everything else (neck angle, action, etc.) is set up perfectly. Any thoughts are welcome.
