Vintage Framus Tenor Banjos

Any other Framus banjo pickers out there? I have a 6/274 standard 200 series from 1968. This is a recent purchase that did not cost much. Other than needing new ball end strings and a good cleaning, it is very playable and sounds good as is. Here in Canada this instrument is a rare bird. I got it from an ancient Czech who had become quite hard of hearing. I have it tuned to GDAE for Irish music and because I already play a bit of fiddle. No point making the learning curve any steeper. My only negative comment would be the ball end strings. I can’t just pop into the closest music shop and pick up a set.
