Framus 12 String Model 5/024. Serial #52824

I purchased this instrument in the very early 1970's from a pawn shop in Detroit Michigan, USA. I am in the process of undergoing a sympathetic cleaning and am curious as to when it was manufactured. I will post a picture as soon as I am finished cleaning the metal work. Any info will be greatly appreciated. It is identical to the Framus used by Lennon in the movie Yellow Submarine.

Model discontinued in 1965 or 66, I started a summary of all the 12string models in this subforum, which stupidly was taken down. I complained to no avail...
