Framus electric neck

I am looking at purchasing a strato deluxe and the
neck is a three piece with a piece at the headstock fitted
on the back and an other piece fitted at the base right above the neck bolts ,,, my question is , is this original
or a very good repair , all the other framus necks I see seem to be one piece

If this was repaired the way you describe, please post a photo once you get it! Not sure what you mean by "other piece..."or "one piece".

I will take a pic next time when I make my offer on the guitar , thanks for the info ,,, scarf joint , that sounds like what I am talking about ! Hope to add this one to my collection

Bought this guitar a few years ago It came with a letter stating it was owned by Jan Akkerman with a story that said back in the early 70's Jan was in the framus factory as it was closing he grabbed the guitar took it home got some pickups (Dimarzio's) and bridge and put it together. Story hasnt been personally verified but it sounded legit. Iam searching for a photo of Jan playing the guitar or some kind of confirmation of the story
