  • Guitar identification

    Hello everyone.

Two months ago I bought this guitar,
unfortunately all the paint of the neck (back and headstock) and the logo was removed. I think it's a modified Framus. Specifically, the model 10405 Telecaster* Typ from 1981/82. In the Framus Vintage Book I found that the same guitar came with the Framus logo and the Warwick logo (pages 78 and 79). Is there any way to tell which guitar is mine? About how many were made?.

The side dots are the same as in my 5/355 model (five reds, and the 12th black). The switch tip and the truss rod are also the same.
The tuners are changed but it has Schaller made in W. Germany.
It has a set neck. (3 pieces).

The original owner was German but passed away years ago.

    I appreciate any information.

Here is the link on framus vintage site: https://www.framus-vintage.de/10405-...elecaster-Typ/

    Thanks a lot!

    Hello Manuel,
it seems that you already know more than could be answered here. But thank you very much for posting, as I have learned something new: that indeed Framus instruments were produced (in very small numbers I think) while the entrepreneur already had founded Warwick basses (which I don't care for much). So even the set neck fits the frame...
    greetings,
    Rainer.
